jetBlue Flight Attendant Arrested for Carrying Brass Knuckles

jetBlue Flight Attendant Arrested for Carrying Brass Knuckles

According to the Palm Beach Post, JetBlue flight attendant Andy Lora, 39, of Little Elm, Texas, was arrested on Wednesday, June 11, at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Fla..

Transportation Security Administration agents searched the man’s bag and found the brass knuckles after seeing the item appear on the X-ray machine. Lora denied putting the weapon into his bag and reportedly claimed he had no idea what purpose the brass knuckles served. While Lora claimed the brass knuckles were not his and he didn’t know how they got into his carry-on luggage, he admits that he was the one who packed his bags and that no one else had access to the bag once it was packed.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the discovery and arrested Lora, charging him with carrying a concealed weapon. He was released from police custody later the same day.
