Tuesday Travel Trivia: What’s the ONLY U.S. State without scheduled airline service?

t600-Fontier_planetourFrontier Airlines has dropped service to and from the airport serving Wilmington, Delaware, leaving it as the only state in the nation without direct commercial airline service. The Denver-based carrier in April discontinued flights to and from Delaware’s New Castle Airport on a seasonal basis, and now has made the pullout permanent because it “wasn’t a profitable operation,” a Frontier spokesman told Wilmington’s News Journal .
