VIDEO: Woman dragged off Southwest plane after saying she had life-threatening pet allergy

A woman was forcibly removed from a Southwest plane at Baltimore-Washington International Airport after announcing her severe pet allergies.

A video has surfaced this week showing police officers physically removing a woman from a Southwest Airlines flight after she complained of a life-threatening pet allergy.

The incident, which occurred at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, began after Anila Daulatzai asked that two dogs be removed from the Los Angeles-bound flight prior to take off.

According to Southwest Airlines, there was one emotional support animal and one other pet onboard.

After the 46-year-old college professor revealed her allergy, the airline said that she would need to show a medical certificate to remain on the aircraft.

Daulatzai did not have a medical certificate and was constantly asking for an EpiPen which the airline did not have on board.

Local law enforcement became involved after Daulatzai refused to deplane.

The video shows one officer pushed her from behind while another pulled her from in front.

“What are you doing?” she asked. “I will walk off. Don’t touch me!”

“All right, let’s walk. Let’s walk,” one of the officers answered.

Anila Daulatzai was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, disturbing the peace, obstructing and hindering a police officer and resisting arrest.

“Our policy states that a Customer (without a medical certificate) may be denied boarding if they report a life-threatening allergic reaction and cannot travel safely with an animal onboard,” a Southwest representative said.
